HOLLYWOOD, CA. (Top40 Charts/ RJN MUSIC) - "We're All Angels," the acclaimed documentary about openly-gay couple and pop recording duo Jason & deMarco, will premiere June 12 at 8:30 pm (et/pt) on SHOWTIME. Simultaneously, the documentary's theme song, "It's Okay" (RJN MUSIC), will be released to digital retailers. The single has already been released to Billboard DJs around the country and "It's Okay" is currently in "break-out" status on the Billboard Dance charts. This summer, the soundtrack to the documentary, "We're All Angels - B Sides, Music from and Inspired by the Documentary Film," will also be released.

"We're All Angels" is produced by filmmaker Robert Nunez. It charts the improbable, inspiring rise of pop music stars Jason & deMarco, who are also a gay, Christian couple struggling to be accepted despite the opposition of the evangelical community, which represents the roots of Jason Warner. Jason was raised in a Pentecostal church and began his career as a Contemporary Christian recording artist - a career that was halted when he disclosed he was gay. The documentary covers Jason & deMarco's work on their first mainstream pop album, "Till the End of Time," which went on to produce the 2006 hit single, "Trying to Get to You," and a second single, "This is Love" that became an Abercrombie and Fitch play-list favorite as well as "Music Video of the Year" on MTV's LOGO.

As a love story, a tale of religious struggle and a behind-the-scenes look at Jason & deMarco's musical and personal journey, "We're All Angels" takes an in-depth look at their lives over an eighteen-month period. Director Robert Nunez takes the camera into their homes, the studio and on the road from church stages and festivals to cruise ships, schools and concert halls. At times irreverent and at times intense, "We're All Angels" is also impactful on several levels. Jason & deMarco speak out about the seriousness of gay teen suicide and the need to provide increased support and resources for gay youth. Their parents speak out about the journey from resistance to acceptance and respect for their sons' romantic relationship.

The spiritual challenges facing Jason & deMarco are also addressed in the documentary. Following their appearance on the cover of The Advocate they struggled against the typecasting of being defined as "gay Christian singers." "We're All Angels" reveals the duo's efforts to achieve a wider message with their music. "We want our songs to be uplifting without being preachy," says Jason. "It's Okay" is a perfect example of their musical evolution. "This is a song that is bigger than our personal relationship," says deMarco. "It is about the need for our world to come together, make a choice and take a stand for what is really important - peace, freedom, liberty and justice for all."
