NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/J.Lo Official) - Actress, singer, and songwriter Jennifer Lopez has written and performed "Alive," the theme song for her upcoming film, Enough. She is one of the few actresses to write and perform an original song for a film in which she acts. There has already been an Oscar buzz surrounding "Alive." The video debuted on VH1 on April 29th and the single was released to radio today.

"Alive" is on Jennifer Lopez's remix album J To Tha L-O (Epic Records), which debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top 200. "Alive" is the 3rd single released off the album.

Enough will premiere at Sony Lincoln Square Cinema in New York City on May 21st, 2002. The nationwide release begins on May 24th, 2002.

In Enough - a harrowing, high-style thriller directed by Michael Apted and starring Jennifer Lopez - an ordinary woman turns the tables on her predatory husband and enters into battle against him. In a physical and psychological war of nerves and valor, she transforms herself into an unexpected action heroine: a mother turned warrior, willing to go to any extreme to keep her daughter safe.

Jennifer Lopez is an internationally renowned recording star and actress. Lopez made an auspicious debut in "My Family/Mi Familia," garnering an Independent Spirit Award nomination and went on to win acclaim in the title role of "Selena."

In January of 2001, Lopez made an indelible impression on the entertainment world by becoming the first female artist in history to have the #1 movie and the #l album in the same week the release of "The Wedding Planner," coinciding with the debut of her second album release "J. Lo" at the top of the US Singles Chart. Next up for Lopez are Wayne Wang's "The Chambermaid" with Ralph Fiennes and Martin Brest's comedy "Gigli" with Ben Affleck and Al Pacino.

The star was honored at ShoWest as the "ShoWest Female Star of the Year." Lopez was recently named Entertainer of the Year by the National Council of La Raza, the largest Latino advocacy group in the nation, presented at the American Latino Media Arts Awards for TV and film.
