3d Sound Labs Selected By Ina Grm For The Upcoming Version Of The GRM Tools
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / 3D Sound Labs) 3D Sound Labs, the 3D/VR Audio specialist, today announced that Ina-GRM has selected the VR Audio Kit for their new set of spatial audio plugins. VR Audio Kit is an Ambisonics-based software development kit for the rendering of spatial audio content over headphones. 3D Sound Labs' tools will also be used during Ina's professional training programs as 3D audio is gaining momentum in the industry and becoming a compulsory skill for content creators.

The Institut national de l'audiovisuel, or Ina, a National Public Service Company, responsible for safeguarding, enhancing and transmitting our audio-visual heritage. Ina's research group, the Groupe de Recherches Musicales, or GRM, develops world-renowned music creation software, such as GRM-Tools

"We are proud to be integrated into the world acclaimed GRM Tools plugins;" said Dimitri Singer, CEO at 3D Sound Labs, "Through the new Spaces plugins, our leading-edge technology will allow artists and music creators to unleash their creativity."

Integrating 3D Sound Labs' technology to the Spaces plugins of the GRM Tools brings features long-expected by musicians, composers and sound designers working on content to be played in concert halls or rooms equipped with multiple speakers. "You'll be able to listen, over headphones, to the result of your work in any multi-speakers setup, right from the studio", explains Emmanuel Favreau, technical lead at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM).

3D Sound Labs' binaural engine features real-time headtracking when used in conjunction with the 3D Sound One headtracking module and can be personalized to the listener's HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) for a more realistic and immersive experience.
