Downtown Music Publishing Signs Deal With Grammy-Nominated "Wrecking Ball," "You're Beautiful" Songwriter Sacha Skarbek
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Downtown Music Publishing has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Grammy Award-nominated and two-time Ivor Novello Award Winner Sacha Skarbek. Skarbek is best known for writing Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball," "You're Beautiful" with James Blunt, and "Cold Shoulder" with Adele, as well as his work with Lana Del Rey, Backstreet Boys, Jason Mraz, and Train.

Skarbek's film credits are on par with his songwriting career. He scored and music-supervised the music for the award-winning film 'For No Good Reason,' starring Johnny Depp. He also scored and collaborated with James Walsh for the movie soundtrack to Chuck Palanhuik's 'Lullaby.'

Skarbek loves working with new artists via his artist development company White Rope Music. Skarbek co-wrote and produced the new Alec Benjamin debut album for Columbia Records.
