Good Charlotte Announces North American Tour In Support Of New Album 'Cardiology'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Capitol Records) On March 3rd, Good Charlotte will launch the "Cardiology" tour in support of its fifth studio album and first forCapitol Records. The North American outing - which will follow Good Charlotte's U.K. headlining stint on the Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink Tour 2011 - will include a show at New York City's Irving Plaza (3/8) and will wrap up with two Los Angeles area concerts (3/26 & 27). Special guests Forever the Sickest Kids and This Century will open on all dates. Tickets will go on sale beginning Thursday, January 20th. See below for itinerary or visit www.goodcharlotte.com

The band will give its new single, "Last Night," its network television debut on "Live with Regis and Kelly" on February 21st. The track just shipped to Top 40 and Hot AC radio. Praised by Billboard for mixing "Rolling Stones guitar hooks with a slamming four-on-the-floor beat," "Last Night" is the follow-up to the smash hit "Like It's Her Birthday," which was named one of the "Hot Singles" by People magazine.

"Good Charlotte are multiplatinum scene superstars, but Cardiology might just be their best effort yet," saidAlternative Press, which awarded the album four out of five stars. Billboard observed: "age has brought some more mature insights and a few tender melodies, including the songs 'There She Goes' and 'Harlow's Song (Can't Dream Without You')."

Cardiology comes almost exactly a decade after the release of Good Charlotte's self-titled debut album. The band - vocalist Joel Madden, guitarist Benji Madden, guitarist Billy Martin, bassist Paul Thomas and drummer Dean Butterworth - has sold 10 million records, scored numerous mainstream radio hits (including "The Anthem," "Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous," "Hold On" and "Girls and Boys") and toured extensively. Good Charlotte has appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone, Alternative Press and Kerrang! magazines, won an MTV Video Music Award and performed on such shows as "Saturday Night Live," "TODAY," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."
