Hollywood Bowl Named Top Amphitheater At Billboard Live Music Awards
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Hollywood Bowl, one of the leading outdoor music venues in the world, managed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, was honored as Top Amphitheater at the Billboard Live Music Awards, on Tuesday night at the Montage Beverly Hills. The Billboard Live Music Awards honor the top tours, festivals, venues, executives, and touring artists in music. This distinction marks the second consecutive Billboard Live Music Award for the iconic venue.

Renowned for its exquisite setting, the Hollywood Bowl plays host to a tremendous diversity of artists, from classical and pops to jazz, rock, and world music. During the 2018 season, the Hollywood Bowl concert series included performances by Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Diana Ross, The Go-Go's, Jennifer Hudson, Itzhak Perlman, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Kristen Chenoweth, Charlie Wilson, Joshua Bell, Bon Iver, Randy Newman, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Queen Latifah, Common, John Williams, Plácido Domingo, The War on Drugs, Grizzly Bear, TV on the Radio, and Beck, among many others. Special presentations by the LA Phil included the Playboy Jazz Festival, film nights with live orchestra, Harry Connick, Jr. leading a 300th birthday celebration of New Orleans, Annie with an all-star cast, and the first-ever concert at the Hollywood Bowl dedicated to música norteña in honor of Mexican Independence Day.

In exclusive partnership with the LA Phil, the team of Live Nation-Hewitt Silva LLC brought a star-studded, genre-spanning line-up that included concerts from Rod Stewart, James Taylor, Googoosh, LCD Soundsystem, Andrea Bocelli, Paul Simon, Kevin Hart, Post Malone, Luis Miguel, Dierks Bentley, Arctic Monkeys, Florence + The Machine, Interpol, and the Outlaw Music Festival featuring Willie Nelson.
Details of the 2019 summer season at the Hollywood Bowl will be announced in February 2019.
