Jordan Baird Finds Life After Jive Records Departure
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Jordan Baird Official Website) Jordan Baird was on his way to becoming one of pop music's fastest rising new acts after being discovered by Jive Records at a music competition at a local Six Flags, which quickly changed when RCA Music Group shut Arista, Jive and J Records last week.

Though Baird scored a hit on iTunes with his debut single for Jive, "Grateful," RCA has decided to keep obvious choices like Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, Rod Stewart, Pitbull, Whitney Houston, Justin Timberlake, Barry Manilow, R. Kelly, Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, Dido, Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis.

"It's a shame Jive closed, I really appreciate what they did for me and starting my career," Baird said in a phone interview. "To be honest, it's going to take a lot more than one label closing to stop me."

Baird picked up the pieces by hiring hit actor Eric West as his manager. West signed him to an exclusive management deal with the superstars management company Eric West Management Group.

"Baird is an amazing talent, which is rare in the music business these days, he's a true musician, writer, and does everything from the heart," West said in a press release.
