Kaya Fest Announces Partnership With Onerise Entertainment
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fruit of Life Productions led by eight-time Grammy award winner Stephen Marley is excited to announce a renewed strategic partnership with OneRise Entertainment to produce the second annual Kaya Fest. Stephen Marley and David F. Alfonso co-founded the inaugural Kaya Fest held in Miami, Florida in April 2017.

The two-day festival, making its first appearance in Southern California at NOS Events Center April 28 - 29, was originally conceived by Stephen Marley, son of the legendary musician Bob Marley, to provide an overall experience through the power of music and shine light on a way of life and overall message shared by his father.

"There is an incredible movement happening for a richer understanding of kaya, not just for recreation, but for medical, industrial and, we believe, spiritual benefits," said Stephen Marley, producer and chief executive officer of Fruit of Life Productions. "With the support of OneRise Entertainment we can continue to educate, celebrate and honor my father, who was a lifelong leader in the movement," Marley continued.

This year, Kaya Fest has big plans to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Bob Marley's album Kaya, with highly anticipated performances by Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian and Ky-Mani Marley who will share the stage for the first time in Southern California in more than a decade.

In addition, this year's festival is proud to announce artists such as; Ms. Lauryn Hill, Soja, Cypress Hill, Action Bronson, Chronixx, Common Kings, Inner Circle, Third World and Toots & the Maytals, to name a few. More exciting artist announcements are forthcoming.

"By design, Kaya Fest is truly a one-of-a-kind socially conscious music and awareness experience that fosters unity, one love, peace and overstanding, for all people from all over the world," said David F. Alfonso, executive producer and chairman of OneRise Entertainment. "We are proud to again join forces with Fruit of Life Productions to present a two-day festival that honors Bob Marley's legacy," Alfonso added.
