NASHVILLE, TN. (Sony BMG) - John Grady, President, Sony Music Nashville, today announced the hiring of radio veteran Larry Santiago for the position of Promotion Manager, West Coast, Epic Records. Mr. Santiago will be based in Los Angeles and will report directly to Bill Macky, Vice President, National Promotion, Epic Records Nashville. 'Larry brings a great deal of experience not just in the radio and music business, but also in the relationships he's built over the years,' said Mr. Macky. 'In a very short period of time, he has made a significant impact in the western region. He's a great addition the Epic Nashville team, and I'm looking forward to building this label with Larry on board.' Larry Santiago began his career as an on-air talent at KFYE radio in Fresno. He served as Program Director for KJUG in Tulare, California from 1986 through 1996 and managed a staff of 15+ at Fresno's KNAX for the next three years. In 1998 he accepted the PD position at Premiere Radio Networks where he oversaw all programming aspects of After MidNite with Blair Garner, Club Country Live with Tony & Kris and several other syndicated programs. For the last three years Larry has been on on-air talent personality at KZLA Radio in LA. A California native and a graduate of California State University with a BA in Radio-Television Communications, Mr. Santiago most recently covered West Coast regional promotion for Vivaton Records.
