Mile Of Music Festival Announces Fox Communities Credit Union As New Presenting Partner
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With preparations underway for Mile of Music's seventh annual summer festival in Appleton, Wisconsin, Fox Communities Credit Union has signed on as the new presenting partner. Fox Communities serves as a long-time supporter of The Mile and has increased its financial backing to help keep the music festival free and accessible to all.

Since that very first meeting, Fox Communities has been alongside with its support through encouragement, guidance and funding. That makes it even more special for The Mile Team to see this agreement become a reality.

A popular music festival that's held each year in Appleton, Wisconsin, has announced that Fox Communities Credit Union has become its new presenting partner heading into the seventh installment - Mile 7 - this August.

Fox Communities has been a sponsor of the original music festival since it first launched in 2013 and has stepped up its financial backing to help keep the four-day event free and accessible to all.

Willems Marketing & Events produces the annual summer festival and Dave Willems, the company's president and festival's executive producer, explained that the partnership with Fox Communities was a natural fit. When he first approached Fox Communities in 2013 with a vision for this grassroots, community-modeled celebration of music, CEO Greg Hilbert immediately embraced the idea and helped establish a dedicated civic checking account for Mile of Music. "Since that very first meeting, Fox Communities has been alongside with its support through encouragement, guidance and funding," Willems said. "That makes it even more special for The Mile Team to see this agreement become a reality."

Stepping into the lead sponsorship role for Mile 7 (August 1-4), Fox Communities' financial backing will go a long way to secure the free festival's future, evolve this unique community event even further and continue to build Downtown Appleton's reputation as a leading destination for live original music.

Fox Communities' long-time collaboration with Mile of Music also extends to the launch of Bike to the Beat in 2016. This popular community bike ride, held in conjunction with the festival, includes live music stops on the 6- to 50-mile course with all proceeds raised through registration donated to local non-profits. Bike to the Beat's Track 4 will take place Saturday, August 3 with 3,500-plus bike riders of all ages and abilities expected to participate.

Cathy Harvath, vice president of marketing for Fox Communities Credit Union, says her team is happy to be part of such a difference-making event for the Greater Appleton and Fox Cities community. "We're excited to expand our commitment to such a magical, organic blending of the artist and business communities along with the non-profit and municipal sectors, all of whom knock it out of the park each August to make something very special happen."

Part of Fox Communities' overall commitment will include business advisory consultation from its executive team plus an evolving connection to its non-profit arm, the Fox Cares Foundation, which focuses on the arts, hunger and homelessness.

As Fox Communities transitions to the new presenting partner, Willems also recognized Tundraland Home Improvements, the company that held this role for the last four years and will continue as one of The Mile's significant sponsors. "There wouldn't be a Mile 7 - at least not as we know it - if it wasn't for Brian Gottlieb and his team at Tundraland," he said.
