There is a brand new Gospel Music label on the horizon that is poised to soar to new heights. Songwriter Paul E. Irving founded Omnific Music, but he is not going it alone; he is maximizing the value of his relationships with music industry heavyweights to enhance the label's likelihood for success.
Paul E. Irving is most noted for his work with the Edwin Hawkins and Bishop Walter Hawkins Music & Arts Love Fellowship Mass Choir. He penned the single 'Without You' on the 'Church Time' CD, arguably one of the choir's most successful releases to date.
Edwin Hawkins serves as the Music Consultant for the Omnific Music label. 'Over the past years Paul Irving… has written some wonderful songs (for the Music & Arts Love Fellowship Mass Choir). With the involvement in knowing what we do (in terms of helping artists succeed in the gospel music industry), Paul asked if I would get involved, and I said, of course. I'm all about trying to help and assist whatever way I can', stated Hawkins from the set of a music video for the label's initial release for a group of four sisters named Clarkwise. Edwin Hawkins appears in the music video for the title cut of Clarkwise's forthcoming CD release entitled 'Brand New'.
Paul E. Irving is the youngest brother of Robert (Baabe) Irving III. 'As founder and President of Omnific Music, Paul blends his prowess as a creative genius with his marketing expertise and his natural public relations skills to ensure the enthusiastic success of any venture he puts his time and energy towards', states Robert Irving III, President of Sonic Portraits Entertainment and former Musical Director and producer for jazz legend Miles Davis.
The Irving brothers are co-producing the Clarkwise project along with Denver A. Wright who is most recognized for his hit with The Collective entitled 'If You're Gonna Worry, Don't Pray' that features the vocals of R&B-turned-Gospel crooner Tony Terry.
Omnific Music released the first single from Clarkwise, entitled 'Victory In The Storm', to Gospel and Christian radio stations across the country and the song is already picking up momentum. The 'Victory In The Storm' single and music video will be available in stores soon and will be sold as a CD/DVD set; the proceeds from the sale of the single will be used to assist with the Hurricane Katrina Relief effort.
The label's name is derived from the word omnificent, which means 'unlimited creative power', and is based on the first five words in the Bible, 'In the beginning, God created…' 'We chose the name Omnific Music because we aspire to create music with an innovative flair, that challenges our listeners with substantive lyrics and infectious rhythms, yet does not compromise the integrity of the Gospel,' states Paul E. Irving, the company's founder and CEO.
Omnific Music LLC is a gospel music label established in 2005 and headquartered in Durham, NC. Omnific Music is a Christian-based company that strives to provide innovative Gospel/Christian music that does not compromise Christian values.
