Peter Yuskauskas (bass), Dan Kleffmann (drums), and Sam Mortellaro (keyboard). They have no day jobs. This IS their day job.
Touting We Came As Romans, Asking Alexandria, Falling In Reverse, Paramore, The Misfits, and
Bjork as influences, Serene's sound is as eclectic as it gets. Their teen vocalist also provides a bravado only seen in experienced artists but she's a revelation, creating standing ovations at the Apollo Theatre when she was only 12 and causing enthusiastic mayhem at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House for Gifted Students. With Serene at the helm, the band is musically elevated and rightfully so.
Serene is no ordinary teenager. She's a punk, musician, painter, illustrator, lyricist, poet, photographer - among other things - and her multi-hyphenate life will just keep on evolving. With her own band, she writes its music and lyrics, collaborating with record label Feral Music's
David Gale and Ken Pomarico. Her song 'I Wish You Understood' has recently been released worldwide by a Japanese label and that's just the beginning.
Currently, Serene is working feverishly on new music and finished a music video for 'Shredding Up The Masterpiece'. The band's album 'Social Misfit' is ready for listeners eager to immerse themselves in Serene's brand of music. They plan to tour around New York and soon the world.
