Universal Music Publishing UK Received The Award For Music Publisher Of The Year
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Universal Music Publishing UK received the award for Music Publisher of the Year at last night's Music Week Awards.

Hosted by Jo Whiley, the 2019 awards brought together industry leaders and artists to celebrate those at the top of their game in the music industry.

Universal Music Publishing UK won the title of Music Publisher of the Year, with Tom Foster (Head of Film & TV, Europe) saying, "We are and always will be about putting our songwriters first... We're only as good as our writers."

UK Managing Director Mike McCormack said, "It gives me great pleasure to tell you that we won the prestigious 'Publisher of the Year' award last night at the annual Music Week Awards. It's an award that each and every team member within the company has had some part to play in us winning. UMPG would not be the force it is without the fantastic roster of artists, songwriters, catalogues and media companies that we represent - but equally we would not be able to retain or sign the quality of artists we have without the solid, driven and efficient administration and infrastructure that underpins our company."
