NEW YORK (FastLane Records) - The New York Dolls set a precedent that most bands follow today, They were the godfathers of the rock and roll scene of the 70's glam/punk/rock era. With only two albums under their belt, the Dolls managed to spawn many bands who have been influenced by the mighty Dolls. In retrospect, The New York Dolls, were way before their time, their record label never understood their appeal or recklessness. 30 plus years have past, since the Dolls stood on stage, sporting their outrageousness and debauchery. with the loss of founding members such as: Billy Murcia/Johnny Thunders/ Jerry Nolan and the recent demise of Arthur 'Killer Kane', the Dolls legacy has grown into cult status over the past three decades. With their pending candidancy into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, The New York Dolls, prove once again it was 'To much too soon'. With a reunion of the three surviving members (David Johansen/Sylvain Sylvain and Arthur 'Killer Kane) taking place this past summer 2004, we proudly, pay homage to one of the most underrated bands of history...The New York Dolls.

'Jetboys Of Babylon' (A Tribute To The New York Dolls) boasts a hefty line-up of heavy weights to the best upcoming bands of tomorrow's stars. New York Dolls, legendary frontman David Johansen, graced this project, by lending us his talents and re-recording one of his classic Dolls song, Babylon. We also acquired the very colorful Flipp w/ Steve Jones. Also included on this great line-up is: Super Deluxe/Slow Motorcade/Tattooed Millionaires/R50/American Anthem/Starduster/Killingbird/Crash Kelly and many more. We feel this tribute, captures the true vibe and essence of the New York Dolls. This recording had been optimized in High Definition Compatible Digital (HDCD) for optimal sound quality.
