Multi-platinum-selling Pop Rock Band Boys Like Girls Set December 11 Release Date For Third Studio Album 'Crazy World'
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts / Columbia Records) Platinum-selling pop rock band Boys Like Girls announced today their long-awaited, third studio album, Crazy World, will be released on December 11, 2012 on Columbia Records. Crazy World was produced by Boys Like Girls lead singer/songwriter/guitarist Martin Johnson. The album's first single, "Be Your Everything," just hit the radio airwaves, and the band gave their fans a preview of the album earlier this summer with the release of the Crazy World EP.

With Crazy World, Boys Like Girls' sound matures, but the band once again delivers an album full of infectious songs that explore love, good times, heartbreak and redemption told through songs such as the anthemic "First Time," the moving ballad "Leaving California" and the soaring "Take Me Home." The video for the album's lead single, "Be Your Everything," debuted in August 2012 and was directed by David McClister (The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum). Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOD_HFqxmkM.

"Crazy World takes you to a different place," says Martin Johnson. "That was the point. Everything is so hyperactive and the digital distractions can be overwhelming. Step aside in this Crazy World and experience the things that truly matter."

The band also recently announced a 38-date, coast-to-coast co-headlining tour with The All-American Rejects. The tour kicked-off on September 13 in Hampton Beach, NH and will take the band through major U.S. cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and San Francisco. Since 2006, Boys Like Girls have sold over 1 million albums and 8 million tracks worldwide including 3 platinum- and 2 Gold-certified singles. Crazy World is the band's third full-length album following their Gold-certified self-titled debut in 2006 that produced the platinum single, "The Great Escape," and the 2009 release of Love Drunk, the album that spawned two platinum-certified singles including "Two Is Better Than One" that featured Taylor Swift. Boys Like Girls is Martin Johnson (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Morgan Dorr (bass/backing vocals), Paul Digiovanni (lead guitar) and John Keefe (drums).
