Pop's Most Exciting New Face Neon Hitch ("Love U Betta") Headlines Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend
Palm Springs, CA (Top40 Charts/ ILDK Media) Make no mistake 2012 will be the year British singer-songwriter Neon Hitch explodes. And not just because she will carry on The Dinah tradition joining fellow alumni Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Dev, The Pussy Cat Dolls, Colbie Caillat, India Arie and Ke$ha, as Pop's most exciting new face with a headlining performance at the legendary Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs, but because her present is already neon bright!

Neon Hitch is currently featured on the Gym Class Heroes smash single "Ass Back Home," one of the hottest songs in the country. She's already performed the song on The Today Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, VH1's Superbowl Fan Jam and Dick Clark's New Years Rockin Eve. On the heels of this success, Neon unleashed her debut single "Fuck U Betta" - the first official single off her debut album "Beg, Borrow and Steal " due out this summer, which features collaborations with Bruno Mars, Imogen Heap, and Mike Posner.

The New York Post is on board early; they believe "Neon Hitch has all the elements of an A-list female pop queen." Spin.com predicts to "expect household name status by year's end."

The road to that sacred stage was not an easy one for Neon. She spent the majority of her younger years as a gypsy, circling the globe (and living in a bus) with her mom and sister as a street performer and trapeze artist, while her lighting-artist dad toured with the likes of David Bowie, Duran Duran, and Annie Lennox.

She performed her first major show opening for rapper 50 Cent at England's Nottingham Arena before the label she was signed with, The Beats Recordings, shut down in 2007, and things started to fall apart. Hitch found herself homeless, until her "long-lost sister" Amy Winehouse took her in and became her flat-mate for two years.

Since then, she's worked with artists ranging from William Orbit and Rodney Jerkins to Miike Snow (appearing on Blanco's remix of "Burial"). She also co-wrote the iTunes No. 1 single "Blah Blah Blah" on Ke$ha's No. 1 album Animal. Currently, she's touring with Gym Class Heroes, singing their iTunes chart-topping single, "Ass Back Home."

Jump on the bandwagon and be the first ones to say: "I saw her first at The Dinah", because, predictably next year, she'll be storming the charts and selling out arenas and stadiums all over the world.

Neon Hitch (her real name by the way) performs Saturday, March 31 at The Palm Springs Convention Center during Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend on the same night the legendary Chaka Khan performs as well.
