"Our
Bayside Summer Nights concert series is quintessential summer in San Diego. We offer the sights and sounds for the perfect summer evening, pairing stunning bay and downtown views with an incredible range of music - patriotic, 80s favorites, Motown, jazz and classical favorites - there truly is something for everyone," said CEO Martha Gilmer. "When planning the summer series, we strive to bring some of the greatest artists to perform with our exceptional Orchestra musicians. Performing outdoors adds a little special magic to the experience for both the musicians and audience."
"Another component of our
Bayside Summer Nights I always look forward to are two very important community concerts. On Sunday, July 15 we will be presenting our third annual "Community Day," a day of music featuring our region's very best musicians and culminating in a free performance by the San
Diego Symphony. On Thursday, August 30, the Symphony will perform our annual "Concert Under the Stars," a free concert for military families. This special day allows us to express our thanks and admiration for their service while bringing together military families," added Gilmer.
Enhancing the experience, concert-goers may take advantage of the convenient tableside food service offered in the Champagne seating section by Behind The Scenes - a leading catering and events company with an impressive client list. Guests may also pre-order gourmet meals or enjoy fresh salads, burgers, sandwiches, desserts, and snacks from concessions.
