APA Signs ACM Award Winning Artist, Jack Ingram
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) APA, one of the largest diversified talent agencies in the industry, has signed Texas icon and country star Jack Ingram, it was announced today by Frank Wing, Vice President for APA Nashville.

"APA is excited to welcome the incomparable Jack Ingram. Jack embodies all the requisite talents of an amazing classic Americana singer and songwriter. Paired with his rootsy, country, rock tinged background, it'll be fun working with an artist of his caliber," said Frank Wing, Vice President of APA Nashville.

Ingram has just released his first album in seven years, Midnight Motel, featuring his new single "I'm Drinking Through It." The new album, released on Rounder Records, is a Texas-tinged "guided meditation" through liquor-fueled melancholy. Ingram will be appearing in Nashville this week as a presenter at the 15th annual Americana Music Association Honors & Awards Show on Sept. 21st and to perform at the Mercy Lounge as part of the AmericanaFest on Sept. 23rd.

APA Nashville will handle Ingram's domestic and international bookings.
Throughout a recording career that has spanned more than 20 years, Jack Ingram has maintained a reputation for uncompromising songs and energetic performances that has earned him prominent stature in a prestigious tradition of iconoclastic singer-songwriters. After a seven year hiatus, his eighth studio album Midnight Motel, was released in August 2016 (Rounder Records). It is his most authentic, touching work to date and reflects the self-assuredness Ingram has gained over the course of a celebrated career. Ingram began writing songs and playing gigs while studying psychology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Over the year's his music gained recognition and he became a regular on both the Country and Americana charts. In 2006, the title track off of Ingram's album Wherever You Are, earned him his first Number One single and its follow-up, "Love You," earned him another Top 20 hit. His next studio effort, 2007's This Is It, hit the Top Five on the U.S. country charts and led to him being named Best New Male Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music in 2008. Big Dreams & High Hopes followed a year later, spawning five charting singles, including "Barefoot and Crazy" and "That's A Man."
