AVJ Records' Crucifix Releases New Documentary Series "Road To Chernobyl" Online
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) AVJ Records' Crucifix Releases New Documentary Series "Road To Chernobyl" Online; Crucifix Is Currently Featured In New Bubba Sparxxx Video For "Splinter"

Rapper, writer, and artist, Crucifix, has released the first episode of his new seven-episode documentary, dubbed "Road To Chernobyl." The webisodes are the story of Crucifix's journey into the radioactive dead zone of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Ukraine to film the music video for his new single "Chernobyl." The journey takes Crucifix and his crew through five countries as he attempts to visit the site of the largest nuclear disaster in history. Watch the first webisode online at https://bit.ly/XJZ2Wm. Crucifix's new album "Acid Reign" is scheduled for a spring 2013 release on AVJ Records (Bizarre, Nappy Roots) and features guest appearances by Bubba Sparxxx, Nappy Roots, Sean Paul of Youngloodz and Big Rube of Dungeon Family.

"When we hear "Chernobyl" there's a natural intrigue that takes over whether we know what really happened there or not. We get this haunting picture of some abandoned, radioactive ghost town we saw in a movie or video game and it was that intrigue that initially gripped me. I wanted to know what lay beneath the surface; the stories, the lives that were impacted. So I started digging and the more I dug the more I was moved by what really happened there, and all that passion just spilled out into song," said Crucifix. "By the time it was said and done with, I knew I could never do the story of Chernobyl any justice until I stood on its ground for myself. That road to Chernobyl changed me forever."

Crucifix has been grinding it out in the hip-hop scene since the release of his controversial double-disc debut, "My Life's Prayer," under the alias BabyBlue. In 2009 his life story was published in the book "Your Own Jesus" by Mark Hall, of the multi-platinum, Grammy, Dove and American Music Award-winning group, Casting Crowns. In 2010, he released his follow-up sophomore album, "Cruce Signati," as well as teaming up with Southern hip-hop legend, Sean Paul, of Youngbloodz forming the group Slumdogz. In 2011 his music appeared in VH1's "The T.O. Show" and has been touring the country performing for rabid fans everywhere.

Crucifix is currently featured in both the song and video for Bubba Sparxxx's new single "Splinter," which can be seen online at https://bit.ly/X81cfv.
