Amy Irving Appeared On MSNBC's Morning Joe Ahead Of Album Release Show
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Academy Award-nominated actress Amy Irving stopped by MSNBC's Morning Joe for an interview about her new album Always Will Be, a 10-song collection of electrifying renditions from Willie Nelson's iconic catalog that was released last Friday. She also discussed her decades-long friendship with Nelson, who appears on the album, as well as how the process of making music compares to acting and more.

This Sunday, May 4, Irving and her 13-piece band with special guests Amy Helm and Steve Earle will perform a matinee show at New York City's City Winery. She will also perform at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY on May 31.

Watch Amy Irving on MSNBC's Morning Joe:

Always Will Be has been praised by Variety, American Songwriter, The Bluegrass Situation, People and PopMatters. Recently, The New York Times visited Irving in her rustic, barn-style home, which includes a designated music area with Nelson's guitar that he gave her during the filming of their 1980 film Honeysuckle Rose.

Over Irving's prolific career, she has been heralded as a "revelation" by Time, while Variety dubbed her "a gifted stage actress of uncompromising integrity." In February, her beloved, critically acclaimed film Crossing Delancey was added to the Criterion Collection. She recently spoke with Vulture about "the New York rom-com classic" and this prestigious honor.
