New York, NY (Top40 Charts) January 5, at 8 PM: Power Access, Inc. presents "An Evening with Branford Marsalis", opening the South Beach Jazz Festival at the Colony Theater. One of the Most Revered Instrumentalists of His Time, three-time Grammy Award® winner Branford Marsalis has continued to exercise and expand his skills as an instrumentalist, a composer, and the head of Marsalis Music, the label he founded in 2002 that has allowed him to produce both his own projects and those of the jazz world's most promising new and established artists. Some might gauge Branford Marsalis's success by his numerous awards, including three Grammys and (together with his father and brothers) his citation as a Jazz Master by the National Endowment for the Arts. To Branford, however, these are only way stations along what continues to be one of the most fascinating and rewarding journeys in the world of music.

The Colony is at 1040 Lincoln Road at Lenox Avenue. Tickets are $30-$45-$60 at https://www.ticketmundo.com/Evento/An-evening-with-Branford-Marsalis/339 or by phone at 800-211-1414. Power Access, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to exhibit the ability of people with disabilities. The festival is produced by KCC Productions.
