Andrew Heller's "Local Call To Heaven" Picked Up On The First Ring At AC Radio
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ PLA Media) "Local Call To Heaven," the inspirational new single from classically trained tenor Andrew Heller enters the Top 40, jumping from number 50 to number 39 on this week's FMQB AC chart.

"The sweeping vocal lines were so exciting to tackle," recalls Andrew. "This Ervin Drake gem was originally written for Frank Sinatra, but Frank never got the opportunity to cut it. I am extremely honored that Ervin invited me to interpret the song and include it on my latest project."

With uplifting themes, Heller's inspirational ballads from his latest album, Reach Out, which was produced by Grammy-award winning Producer Eric Paul, have really struck a chord with his ever-growing fan base. "Local Call To Heaven" is no exception, climbing the charts since it's release about four weeks ago. The track highlights Heller's powerful Broadway trained tenor which has served as the foundation for his career spanning Adult Contemporary and Inspirational Country albums.

Before performing his chart-topping hits on stages across the world from symphony halls to presidential inaugurations, Heller was an IBM Fellow and led IBM's Independent Business Unit that created the RS6000 line and Unix (AIX) product lines as president. Today, Heller and his wife own and operate DiamonDisc, a record label that distributes Andrew Heller's projects and a catalog of critically acclaimed recordings by Charlie McCoy, Willie Nelson, Don Cherry and the late Boots Randolph. Over the years, Heller has appeared with orchestras as varied as the Austin Symphony, the Philadelphia Philharmonic, and the iconic Western Swing band, The Texas Playboys. Heller was a 2010 nominee for "Entertainer of the Year" by the Inspirational Country Music Association.
