Andrew Neil Releases New Single "Hope"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Andrew Neil's music journey began in 2009 after sustaining a head injury in a serious car accident and music has been his real medicine & therapy ever since. Without any technical training, Andrew just dove right in and started learning how to write songs and play guitar & keyboard. Through all of Andrew Neil's trials & tribulations over the past 10 years, the pure joy & love of music has driven Andrew to wonderful places. His latest stop and most recent single is titled "Hope" and I don't think you could think of a better name for a song based on Andrew's story and history.

Andrew Neil's style has been coined as "Outsider Grunge Folk" by some and I can kind of hear that after listening to "Hope". On this tack, you definitely get elements of folk, rock and alternative and that raw, grunge-like influence in Andrew's voice. As far as the "Outsider" part goes, all I can say is that maybe, at some point, Andrew was on the outside, looking in but I can confidently say that Andrew Neil is now on the inside, looking out. "Hope" has that instant effect of stirring your soul around due to Andrew's personal & sincere approach to songwriting. The track is musically rich and lyrically sound as Andrew Neil hits all the right notes & chords. The vocals are grainy in a good way; I think of someone like Bob Dylan who doesn't have the best voice in the world but used what he had and made it work perfectly. Andrew Neil is doing much of the same here and I have to say that the quality & tone of his raw chops blends wonderfully with his musical style. Working with what you have has paid off extremely well for Mr. Dylan and I feel Mr. Neil is following suit. I sense Andrew's strong passion on "Hope" with lines like "You are what you believe" echoing in your head.

I do believe in Andrew Neil and his abilities as an artist and so I do "Hope" that Andrew and listeners alike can find solace through song. Andrew Neil digs deep on this tune and hopes to share an even deeper connection with people everywhere. "Hope" personifies perseverance and Andrew Neil displays incredible endurance. Life happens, life continues and "Hope" is the answer!
