"Beyond The Farthest Star" To Screen At 2015 Values Voter Summit
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) It is a compelling story dealing with sensitive issues. The weight of secrets cause a family to spiral out of control and audiences are on the edge of their seats until the dynamic conclusion.

Pathlight Entertainment's film, Beyond The Farthest Star (https://www.BeyondTheFarthestStar.com), is selected from several films to be screened during the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. while it continues a national city-by-city, Theater-On-Demand distribution by Gathr Films.

"It is a compelling story dealing with sensitive issues. The weight of secrets cause a family to spiral out of control and audiences are on the edge of their seats until the dynamic conclusion," says executive producer Benjamin Dane.

Values Voter Summit was created in 2006 to provide a forum to help inform and mobilize citizens across America to preserve the bedrock values paramount in America's foundation. It has drawn as many as 3,000 plus attendees from around the nation and foreign countries. Garnering national and international media attention, CNN named it "one of the conservative movement's marquee annual events" and Sean Hannity called it "the premier conservative event now in the country." The event annually selects at least one film to screen at the Summit as a part of the weekend long conference.

This year it showcases the nation's leading conservatives voices such as 2016 Republican presidential candidates; Senator Ted Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, Governor Mike Huckabee, Governor Scott Walker and others. Mariam Ibraheem, the Sudanese Christian sentenced to death for her faith, was honored with the inaugural Cost of Discipleship Award in 2014.

The film has also inspired a painting by famed artist, Thomas Kinkade, and completed by his nephew, Zachary Thomas Kinkade, a Harper-Collins novel by best-selling author team, Bodie and Brock Thoene and a remake of the classic song, "Beauty For Ashes" by Dove Award-winning Crystal Lewis.

Pathlight Entertainment, in cooperation with The Kinkade Company, is releasing the film and Kinkade painting. In exclusive Gathr FilmsĀ® one-night cinema events, Beyond The Farthest Star is currently showing in multiple cinemas. This grassroots system allows fans to choose when and where they experience "Star", on the exact day and time they select, in top-brand cinemas across the country. Interested individuals and groups are encouraged to email staff for more information at info(at)PathlightEntertainment(dot)com to demand the movie in their city cinema.

The Beyond The Farthest Star cast includes international star Renee O'Connor ("Xena", "Ark", "Boogeyman 2"), Todd Terry ("Breaking Bad", "Arlington Road", "Fissure"), Barry Corbin ("No Country for Old Men", "Anger Management", "War Games"), William McNamara ("Copycat", "Chasers", "The Legend of Hell's Gate"), Andrew Prine ("The Miracle Worker", "Gettysburg", "The Dukes of Hazzard") and Cherami Leigh ("Temple Grandlin", "Fast Food Nation").

"Star" is helmed by writer/director, Andrew Librizzi ("Holding On", "Still Born"), executive produced by Benjamin Dane ("The Significant Other", "Still Born") and produced by Sally Helppie ("Exit Speed", "The Beacon").

Beyond The Farthest Star tickets are available online only at https://gathr.us/films/beyond-the-farthest-star and not available at the door. Beyond The Farthest Star will continue one-night events throughout the country and more will be added.

Richard Propes, The Independent Critic, says, "Beyond the Farthest Star is that rare film with the courage to speak a harsh and authentic truth while never losing sight of its grander truth."

Although Pastor Adam Wells is revered as "the Next Billy Graham" of the sleepy Texas town, circumstances are forcing him to choose between church superstardom and his fractured family. His decision changes everything.
