Blues Rock Trio The Dry States Play Desmond's In NYC

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Acclaimed blues/rock trio The Dry States are thrilled to announce their appearance at Desmond's Tavern in New York City on Thursday, August 4th, 2016. This special performance is their first at Desmond's and supports their latest recordings available for free download. Founded by guitarist and songwriter Alex Gutman in 2010, The Dry States are a soulful blues rock trio that has garnered a reputation as a great live band from playing gigs across Brooklyn and New York City. Showtime is at 10:00 pm and there is no cover.

The Dry States feature Ian Katz on drums and bassist Jeffrey Lee. The group also features songs written by Alex that incorportate elements of funk, rock n roll, jump and rockabilly. The Dry States play original songs about work, people and real life, delivered in a style that brings audiences to their feet and keeps them dancing.
