Brave Shores Release Sophmore Album "La Hoo La La"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today Canadian synth-pop band, Brave Shores, return with the release of La Hoo La La via Universal Music. Produced by band front man, Jay McCarrol, along with Ryan Worsley (Dear Rouge, Said The Whale), mixed by David Tolomei (Future Islands, Daughter), and mastered by Heba Kadry (Bjork, Future Islands), La Hoo La La is available now on all participating digital retailers.

On the album, the band said: "We are so excited to finally share with the world our debut LP La Hoo La La. It's been a long and strange journey. "Never Come Down" was a song I [Jay] wrote for a cell phone commercial, but it quickly went from television jingle to radio hit. What happened after, however, was even stranger - the song was adopted by on-line troll types as a sort of Donald Trump victory meme. It inspired the theme of the LHLL. Group mentality, division, indoctrination, power. The world is at once more connected and more divided than ever before. This album is an empathetic exploration of escape, apostasy, and self-discovery - it was a journey from beginning to end. We hope you enjoy the ride."

The first single from La Hoo La La, "Cult Kids", was released in February. A follow up to their breakout single, "Never Come Down", which has reached nearly 1.5 million streams in Canada to date. The band recently released the music video for "Middle Game" along with a one-of-a-kind interactive game created by long-time collaborator Luca Tarantini (Cult Kids, Magic Man). Inspired by the style of Monkey Island and Space Quest, The Middle is a one-of-a-kind adventure game built similar to a 90's PC. Play "Middle Game" HERE.

Brave Shores is a Toronto based synth-pop band that broke onto the scene with their infectious pop hit "Never Come Down". Chasing the success of that song, originally intended for a commercial, the band has evolved to become something of much more substance. Their new album "La Hoo La La" WAS released in 2 parts and proves a deeper and all around more mature body of work. Not straying far from the synth-pop genre, Brave Shores weaves together layers and layers of synthesizers, guitars, drum machines and vocals through thoughtfully crafted songs that range from loud dance-synth jams, to chill and vibey space-mall feels. The band has shared the stage with some of Canada's most talented acts and have played the country's best festivals including the 2014 Pop Montreal Festival, Field Trip, WayHome Music & Arts and Rifflandia.
