New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sydney-based vocalist, producer, songwriter and instrumentalist CLYPSO has signed an exclusive global publishing deal with BMG and Astral People (artist management and live touring company) via the companies' joint venture.

The signing announcement comes after CLYPSO's recent support of Groove Armada's Australian tour celebrating their 25th anniversary, having played venues including Hordern Pavilion and Fortitude Music Hall.

CLYPSO said of the signing, "This is a truly exciting time for me as a songwriter and artist to have the robust backing of the team at BMG and Astral. It is very encouraging to have a team that are as passionate as Tom, Vic and BMG are about the CLYPSO sound. With their support I'm looking forward to seeing the music reach all corners of the globe!"

Heath Johns, BMG Managing Director Australia & New Zealand, said, "BMG and Astral have a combined mission via our joint venture to identify, sign and develop the freshest and most progressive young songwriters in the country. CLYPSO personifies this brief, and we are so proud to be working with her on this exciting new phase in her career."

Tom Huggett, Director of Astral People, said, ''We've been working behind the scenes on CLYPSO's project for over a year now, so we're really excited to publicly announce the official partnership between Astral People, BMG and CLYPSO. Not only does CLYPSO have one of the most unique voices in music, but she also writes some of the hookiest lyrics that just stick with you. Claud and her manager Shelley are a dream to work with and alongside BMG we're excited to only amplify what they've already achieved as a team and make 2023 and beyond CLYPSO's biggest years yet."

CLYPSO is a distinctive voice in the alternative electronic music scene in Australia and a sought-after collaborator, having worked with The Avalanches, Jamie XX, Neneh Cherry, The Magician and Kwame, to name a few. She has supported artists including Channel Tres, The Avalanches, PNAU, What So Not, Pond and Touch Sensitive, and has taken her high-energy live show to festivals including Listen Out, Spilt Milk, Lost Paradise, Festival Of The Sun and Meredith Festival. Her music has landed syncs with brands including Adore Beauty, Witchery and Commonwealth Bank and television shows Made In Chelsea, Heartbreak High and Elite (Netflix), has been added to rotation on triple j and FBi, and received strong editorial support from Spotify and Apple Music.

CLYPSO joins a BMG and Astral People publishing roster including Winston Surfshirt, Young Franco, Moktar and Wave Racer, and a broader BMG publishing roster of Australian and New Zealand talent including Alison Wonderland, What So Not, Peking Duk, Blessed, Client Liaison, KLP, Neil Finn, Cut Copy, SLUMBERJACK, Kwame, CHAII, Hockey Dad, Carla Wehbe, B Wise, Ladyhawke, Golden Features and more.
