Cadence Kid's Critically Acclaimed "Hold On Me" Is Slated To Be One Of 2017's Songs Of Summer
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With summer just around the corner, multi-instrumentalist Cadence Kid's latest Indie hit, "Hold On Me," is starting to climb the Indie charts once again, quickly on its way to becoming one of the songs of summer for 2017.

In "Hold On Me," Cadence Kid aka Jason Turbin teams up with three-time Grammy-award-winning producer Cassidy Turbin (Beck, Bat for Lashes, Thurston Moore). Since its release in 2016, the tune has been featured on Billboard's "Spotify Viral" top 50 list as well as Spotify's Fresh Finds playlist. Described as a "light-hearted indie-pop summer jam" by Blisspop.com, "Hold on Me" has been steadily spreading its good vibes across the Internet as countless YouTubers continue to share and use it.

Cadence Kid is a one-man band by multi-instrumentalist Jason Turbin. In "Hold on Me," Jason plays the violin, viola, erhu, flute, recorder, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, harmonica, and piano, in addition to performing the vocals. "Filled with a whimsical indie pop chorus … [the song] is the perfect companion to whiling away the long summer days," writes 50thirdand3rd.com.

A passionate musician, Jason has a strong background in classical music theory and plays more than ten instruments. He is known for his orchestration and composing on such films as Oculus, NYT Critic's Pick Dementia, Proxy, Before I Wake (alongside acclaimed composer Danny Elfman), and many others. In 2016, Jason decided to return to his singer-songwriter roots and focus on his solo career with the help of his brother, Grammy-winning producer Cassidy Turbin. Jason is currently in the studio with more projects scheduled for release in 2017.
