Canadian Singer-Songwriter Ed Roman Gives Fans First Taste Of Upcoming Album "Red Omen"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Ed Roman has released four acoustic demo videos of songs from his forthcoming album, Red Omen. Lyrics have also been posted to his social media pages. Ed is currently in pre-production for the album, on his farm in Shelburne, Ontario. The award-winning artist is scheduled for New York and Philadelphia concert dates, beginning on July 25th. He will also attend the Josie Show Awards in Nashville, TN, in September. Red Omen is the follow-up to Ed's critically acclaimed album, Letters From High Latitudes. The new album is tentatively scheduled for an early 2016 release.

Videos posted on Ed's youtube page at https://www.youtube.com/specialedroman include, "Laughing Mad," Lay One Down," "Tough Cookie," and "You Treat Me Like a Fool." Ed has also posted a brief "thank you" message to his fans, explaining the process of song selection. Watch that video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ_pQSua9J0.

Lyrics to "Laughing Mad:"
Hey did I ever tell you that I grew up with Red Omen and boy was he a neat kid.
He had all sorts of really cool things to play with like a plutonium spaceship lunchbox and a bathtub full of Lego.

And I didn't believe you when somebody said that he fled with Jimi Hendrix to a UFO type Basecamp up on Machu Picchu

Excuse me it's not my fault he's playing the crime so he can't get caught I said
Excuse me I must confess give me two words in my defence
I'm laughing mad.
And there's a red hot stove down in Pittsburgh going out hard like a cherry pie.
Call me a fibber call me a liar say to my face like a cross between Benjamin Franklin and Ian Pace.

And I didn't believe the man from MI6
Living out in the sticks who souped up his side-by-side just like Evil Knievel.
Excuse me it's not my fault he's playing the crime so he can't get caught I said
Excuse me I must confess please give me two words in my defence
I'm laughing mad
Well that's about all that sums it up for me today you seen my nerves are shattered tired tattered and beginning to fray

Just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz realizing only now we're caught in someone else's claws.

And I didn't believe in myself if no one else to be making voodoo music in some small town way up in Canada.

Excuse me it's not my fault he's playing the crime so he can't get caught I said
Excuse me I must confess please give me two words in my defense
I'm laughing mad
