Carmel Heats Up The Holidays
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Straight Up Records) This holiday season, sultry songstress Carmel and legendary rocker Eddie Money bring their brand of class to a classic Christmas song.

The two artists blend her youthful soul and his vocal finesse in a rendition of "Baby It's Cold Outside," to be released on all digital outlets on November 10, 2015 by Straight Up Records.

Composed by songwriting icon Frank Loesser, the Academy Award-winning tune has been recorded by twosomes as varied as Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé, Willie Nelson and Norah Jones, Dolly Parton and Rod Stewart -- even Rudolf Nureyev and Miss Piggy.

On their rendition, (produced by Grammy Award winner Val Garay) Carmel and Money tease each other playfully, from her scolding "no, no, no" to his coaxing croon as brass and strings simmer a seductive accompaniment.

"This is the sexiest Christmas song ever written, with a cat-and-mouse chase that's so much fun," says Carmel. "Eddie added such personality to the song by just being himself -- a hugely talented sweetheart of a guy."

"Working with a great torch singer like Carmel was like it would have been working with Etta James, Peggy Lee or the great Dinah Shore," insists Money, whose enthusiasm for Carmel began the moment he heard some songs from her EP. "Her approach to the tune is infatuating and she has tone for days."

Brooklyn's Eddie Money earned a permanent place in rock 'n' roll history with his double-Platinum self-titled debut in 1977 and such epic singles as "Baby Hold On," "Two Tickets to Paradise" and another unforgettable duet, with Ronnie Spector on "Take Me Home Tonight." Born in New Jersey, Carmel has taken her steps toward stardom with her debut EP, Turn It Up, packed with six passionate original songs and released in June.
