Celebrate 'Music In Our Schools Month' With Casio
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Music in Our Schools Month is celebrated across the nation each year during the month of March. This time focuses on raising awareness of the importance that music education plays in children's learning and how it can improve all areas of academia. Casio America, Inc. believes in the benefits of music education and encourages the learning of musical instruments. Their wide portfolio of digital pianos, including portable keyboards like the CT-X700 and LK-265, include features that enable children to learn piano at their own pace while having fun.

CT-X700
For piano students who are advanced beginners, the CT-X700 includes upgraded technology and sound quality at an affordable price. Featuring the new AiX Sound Source*1 , the CT-X700 faithfully reproduces the appealing sound of acoustic instruments such as guitars, drums, basses, brass, wind instruments, string ensembles and more, faithfully reproducing subtle nuances and gestures specific to each sound. Additionally, high-performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP) effects combine various algorithms to realize the perfect effect for each instrument sound. A wide range of tones and rhythm patterns, including a library of 600 tones and 195 rhythms, supports diverse musical genres that allow students to play their own musical masterpieces without limiting creativity.

LK-265
For those just beginning their piano education, the Key Lighting LK-265 is filled with innovative features to support learning. The LK-265 has a key lighting system and is outfitted with Casio's Voice Fingering Guide and Step-up Lesson System, which enable beginners to learn built-in songs at their own individual pace. Additionally, the LCD display enables the learning of both music notation and correct hand positioning, while Casio's innovative Scoring System evaluates performance so users can track their progress.

The LK-265 also supports Casio's Chordana Play app, which is a free music app that can automatically play 50 songs, from pop to classical and more. It is expandable through MIDI files that can be downloaded from the internet. As the song plays, the app displays the correct keyboard position for both hands in real time in the piano roll window. Users can also play by touching the virtual keyboard which also offers lesson and scoring functions. Users may connect directly to the app using a standard 1/8" stereo cable between an iOS or Android device and the keyboard. Casio's Chordana Play app is available for free in the App Store and on Google Play. For those looking to add a bit of fun to learning, the LK-265 includes Dance Music Mode, which divides the piano keyboard into different instrument sections like drums, bass, and more, allowing users to play and remix their own EDM songs.

The CT-X700 and LK-265 are available now at music retailers nationwide, as well as online. To learn more about Casio's full portfolio of electronic musical instruments, please visit www.CasioMusicGear.com.
