LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Charlie Brown Official Website) - Upcoming artist and rising star Charlie Brown will feature alongside Wiley and Bless Beats on the forthcoming collaborative single 'The Rain', due for release at the end of June 2009. Co-written by Charlie, the single is an explosive mixture of grime, rap and soulful melodies, skilfully laid over an infectious, dirty beat that is sure to be tearing up dance floors and blaring from car stereos across the UK this summer. South London raised Charlie Brown began writing and performing at a young age. His talent soon caught the eye of Simon Fuller and 19 Songs who signed Charlie to a writing deal. Since then, Charlie has travelled the world working with a host of a-list songwriters and producers including The Script, Jay Sean, Groove Armada, Redone, Cutfather, Jonas, Fraser T and Future Cut amongst many others. Recently Charlie has worked with Tinchy Stryder on his debut album, co-writing the track 'Roam' and is currently in the studio in London and LA working with Black Eyed Peas producer Printz Board, on his forthcoming debut album. This will showcase Charlie's own unique blend of urban pop and soul with a British feel. In the midst of it all, he teamed up with hit makers, Bless Beats and Wiley early this year and 'The Rain' was born. Early cuts of the track brought Charlie to the attention of RWD Magazine who hailed him as one of 2009's 'Ones To Watch'.
