The team's tenure members, and founders Sekhu Gentle & Sly "Pyper" Jordan have spent there career with just about every major artist to hit air waves, showing an immaculate resume when it comes to working with the industry's best. Along with there radio hits, there credits include The O Jays,
Kelly Rowland, Jaheim, Donnell Jones, Shareefa, Flo Rida, Timbaland, Jojo, Trey Songz, 50 Cent, Young Buck, Two Live Crew, Gucci Crew, Devastator, and many more.
During the
Spring of 2009 Chris Linked up with Sekhu (SG-1) via online and made a business connection that took him across the world.
Chris talks about signing his deal with the team, "It kind of just happened, I had got in contact with Sekhu via myspace about sending a beat tape and he gave me a shot. They received the music well, and we sparked up a relationship based upon our mutual respects for each others crafts, like for me, these guys wrote & sang on all of my favorite songs, I really was dumbfounded they liked my music."
Tha Piecemakerz offered Chris a spot on the team, and he accepted.
Chris officially signed to the team in June of 2011, and since then has made a massive jump from a basement producer to full time music entrepreneur. Chris currently works out of his newly established Studio in Nova Scotia, and frequents music hotspot Los Angeles.
Chris at the age of 24 has produced for some 50 plus artist worldwide, and has had the chance to work with his quote "Favorite Artists" including Young Buck, Sammie, Trey Songz, Young Jerz, The Game, Ya Boy, Question, Kayo, Rich Kidd, PG, JRDN, Haji Springer, Quake & many more.
In 2008, Chris hit his first successful Billboard charting hit, with independent dance artist
Brian Anthony entitled "Worked Up". The song peaked at #7 that December on Billboards US "Hot Club Dance Play" Chart. That same year Chris received an East Coast
Music Award nomination for producing Joe Bucks "
No More".
Chris has also had music & songs placed in feature films such as "Aliens in the Attic", "Dragon Ball Z;Evolution" and "Fantastic Four 2".
To Chris, he says being a Piecemaker is about maintaining a state of mind of a conscious creator, and the music business is his pallet for that.
