New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Disney Music Group) Chris Rojas, Meridith Valiando Rojas and Disney Music Group announced the formation of their new label, RMI Recordings, today. In addition to signing digital-first talent to RMI, the deal includes a publishing arm with multi-platinum producer/songwriter Chris Rojas and Disney Music Publishing. Marketing efforts will be combined to maximize digital and branding initiatives.

Chris & Meridith are the co-founders of DigiTour Media, the leading producer of live events featuring social media talent. Chris recently wrote and produced social superstar Jacob Sartorius' "Last Text" EP, whose independent release debuted at #1 on iTunes, and has written and produced music for A-list artists including P!nk, Flo-Rida, Backstreet Boys and Vanessa Hudgens among many others. Chris also co-produced the song for Coca-Cola's #MakeItHappy digital SuperBowl spot featuring Jordin Sparks, Bea Miller, and Victoria Justice. Meridith, a former record and publishing A&R executive and music manager, has emerged as one of the most sought-after thought leaders on the subject of Gen-Z and the digital generation. The husband-and-wife team have produced over 300 live events for the teen market that have generated hundreds of thousands of ticket sales and helped to launch the careers of many artists.

"We're thrilled to be joining forces with such an iconic brand and look forward to building RMI Recordings into the premiere record label for the social media generation," said Chris Rojas and Meridith Valiando Rojas.

Added Disney Music Group President, Ken Bunt, "It's an honor to be working with Chris and Meridith, who are such creative entrepreneurs in the digital universe.
