Cierra Ramirez, Tribeca/Empire Artist And Star Of TV Show, Good Trouble, Releases New LP "Over Your Head" Following A Couple Of Years Of Successful Musical Firsts
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On the heels of her title-track single/video release "Over Your Head", Tribeca Music/EMPIRE recording artist Cierra Ramirez today releases her highly anticipated debut LP, Over Your Head.

The ten-track LP was Executive Produced by The Aristocrats and includes songs by multi-platinum guest producer Harmony Samuels ("Matters" and "Twisted") and renowned Latin music producer DJ Buddha ("Charlie" featuring Latin hip-hop artist Bulova).

Over Your Head contains four previously released singles. "Bad Boys", "Liquid Courage", "Broke Us", and "Over Your Head", as well as six previously unreleased new songs. The record is a mix of genre's from R&B to hip hop to Latin Club sounds.

Earlier in the month, Refinery29 debuted the title track: "Did you wake up today feeling just a tad in over your head?...you probably sensed the debut of Cierra Ramirez's latest project on the horizon. After memes upon memes of fans demanding new music from the Good Trouble star, Refinery29 is here to exclusively premiere the music video for Ramirez's brand-new song, "Over Your Head." The actress/producer/musician confirms to Refinery29 the track is also the name of her upcoming album, which debuts on Friday, February 28. Between Ramirez's fearless vocals and parade of power looks, "Over Your Head" is the precise aesthetic you're going to want to take into the weekend."

Cierra's first single from the collection, "Bad Boys" released in 2018 was lauded by Complex magazine who said, "...takes cues from Mase's "Feel So Good" and Miami Sound Machine's "Bad Boy"' and praised the song for acting as a "warm welcome" to Cierra's music career.

Now with over 7.1 million views on Youtube and 2.4 million streams on Spotify, "Bad Boys" was instrumental in paving the way for Over Your Head.

"Liquid Courage" came next in 2019 with its sultry melody and relatable lyrics. It quickly garnered over 1.8 million views on Youtube. "Broke Us" (2.3 million views on Youtube), came next and was a summer 2019 hit featuring fellow label mate and Freeform TV cohort, Trevor Jackson. Both singles received high praise by publications such as Billboard, Elite Daily, People Magazine, and Just Jared.

In an interview last year with Elite Daily, Cierra talked about Over Your Head telling the publication, "I have a whole body of work. I'm really, really excited. It's a lot different than the stuff I put out before, it's a lot more pop urban."

Cierra Ramirez is a power woman of the 2000's, as she has her hands in many pursuits. The singer, actress, producer has received critical acclaim for her role as Mariana on the Fosters and then Good Trouble. Her multifaceted interests have led her to appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers and Refinery 29, People NOW, Telemundo and many others.

Over Your Head can be heard on all streaming platforms. The newest episode of "Good Trouble" on Freeform TV airs every Wednesday at 7pm PT/10pm ET
