Clare Dunn Is "Holding Out For A Cowboy"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Big Yellow Dog Music's country riser Clare Dunn is giving fans the next taste of her upcoming 'In This Kind of Light' EP with her brand-new song, "Holding Out For A Cowboy" - out now. The soulful track, which Dunn produced herself and co-wrote alongside Whitney Phillips (Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue), tosses aside the romantic players and sets the bar a little higher for future relationships, as the Colorado native cranks up the raw side of her "lovely voice" (New York Times Popcast) and adds a smooth rock flare to her country roots with John Mayer-esque guitar slides.
"This song is all about having the courage to hold out for the right thing," Dunn explains. "Like a lot of us, this past year was one of reflection and realization. The things a cowboy represents: loyalty, steadfastness, strength, and so much more, still hold true and I think matter more now than ever.
