On this historic Walpurgis Weekend, wherein the Church of Satan will celebrate its 50th Year of existence, the Electric Hellfire Club is pleased to announce that our performance on 12/02/16 will feature a special guest appearance by the legendary Daughter of
Darkness herself: Jinx Dawson - lead vocalist and ceremonial magus of the seminal Satanic rock band COVEN.
For the uninitiated, COVEN's debut album -"Witchcraft: Destroys Minds and Reaps Souls" - released in 1969 featured the first ever recording of a
Black Mass and introduced the "Sign of the Horns" to popular culture (eat your hearts out
Gene Simmons and Ronnie
James Dio).
The album's opening track, "Black Sabbath", was likely the source for the name of the British rock group that would release their first record over a year later.
The Electric Hellfire Club proudly claims COVEN as a major influence in our music and as the inspiration for the title of our second album: "Kiss The Goat".
We are honored and thrilled by the opportunity to share the stage with one of the pioneers of not only our genre, but one of the greatest female rock vocalists of all time. The results of this unholy alliance promise to be nothing short of diabolically divine.
