New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bullying comes in all shapes and forms - physical, mental, and cyber. DJ Ryan Donovan, the eighteen year old electronic dance music producer, is familiar with the struggles and anxiety of being bullied growing up. The young DJ recently scored his first national broadcast commercial music with STOMP Out Bullying.
Using all custom sounds and no instruments, DJ Ryan Donovan produced the track behind the latest STOMP Out Bullying PSA, currently airing on major TV and cable networks. The PSA encourages kids, teens, and adults to participate in the Seventh Annual BLUE SHIRT DAY WORLD DAY OF BULLYING PREVENTION. On the first Monday of October, kids and adults around the world wear the STOMP Out Bullying™ "2015 Limited Edition" blue T-shirt or their own blue shirt to combat bullying and cyberbullying. Ryan shares, "What I've learned through my experience in bullying is that it takes away a lot of confidence and self-esteem from its victims. I have found my confidence in who I am, and what I do, not by who I'm friends with, or by whether or not people believe in me." This is both a significant and sentimental milestone for Ryan because he is able to participate in the movement for anti-bullying and do so through a creatively and emotionally driven outlet, like music.
Ryan Michael Donovan, born in 1997, p/k/a RDM is a young electronic dance music producer with an original musical background as a drummer with a passion for Pop Punk and Post Hardcore. In keeping with the rhythm, he has made the natural transition into EDM and Trance. He is currently working on his first EP titled Enemies Don' t Matter, where he explores the synergy of styles by crossing PH with Trance and hip-hop to create a form of electronic classical, which can be found in his intro song, "It's Better In Paradise". He will be attending Full Sail University in the fall to continue mastering his producing skills. With his percussive background combined with his personality, he is sure to be one of the future trendsetters...creating for the pure passion of the sound.
