New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Daughter of Swords, aka Mountain Man's
Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, has announced several new summer and fall tour dates featuring songs from her recently released debut album, Dawnbreaker. The tour dates include headline concerts and shows with The Mountain Goats,
Molly Tuttle, Hiss Golden Messenger,
Molly Sarlé (also of Mountain Man), and
Sylvan Esso (the duo of Nick Sanborn, who co-produced Dawnbreaker with Sauser-Monnig, and Mountain Man's Amelia Meath). See below for all of the currently announced dates; for all the latest, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.
NPR hailed Dawnbreaker as a "tender, fragile, jewel of a record," and Pitchfork said it "reveals her effortless skill as a songwriter." To pick up a copy, head to your local record store, iTunes, Amazon, the Daughter of Swords shop, and the Nonesuch Store, where CD and vinyl orders include a download of the complete album at checkout. You can also hear the album on Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital service providers.
