Delena Shares Stunning New Dark-Pop Track 'Why Should I Love You'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The atmospheric opening bars of Why Should I Love You, the new release from Ukranian pop artist, Delena, draw you immediately into a smokey melting pot of bluesy vibes and James Bond style intrigue.

Building up throughout the verses, Delena soon gets into her stride, showcasing her powerful vocals and raw emotions that have been so succinctly captured in this track. A well placed key-change two and a half minutes in does nothing to detract from the drama of the heartbreak being played out as part of this audacious and bold production.

Why Should I Love You was inspired by Delena's recent breakup with a long term lover. A Ukrainian national, Delena has struggled with the devastating effects of the conflict in her home country, directly impacting her family & friends. Having spent many peaceful years in a relationship with a Russian partner, this was seemingly an obstacle too big to be overcome, leaving Delena broken hearted, but with renewed passion for songwriting, a passion which has clearly been poured into this new release.

The dramatic production style and powerful instrumentals could fit seamlessly into a big budget Hollywood blockbuster, a clear nod to the influence Delena has taken from her relation, screenwriter, film producer and director, Alexander Dovzhenko. Bringing the song closer to home and to a pop audience, the co-writers for this track include Jodie Brooke Wilson (Hear'Say, Louise,) Richard Darbyshire (Lisa Stansfield, Level 42, Jennifer Rush) and Frank Muscat, the track was recorded and produced in the UK by Toby Scott (Girls Aloud, Becky Hill, Little Mix, Ella Henderson).
