Devon Sevon EP "The Guardian" Ones To Watch / Gigslutz "Track Of The Day"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Devon Seven is half danish, half malaysian. She is an independent and proud musician who writes, composes and produces her own music, creating crisp electronic pop with melancholic lyrics about her life in general, falling in love with girls, and the heartache of breaking up.

On the 9th of September she released the single 'The Real One' in her native Denmark. This was the first single from the EP 'Everything Ends' which will be released on Nov 25th worldwide, the same day as 2nd single / video 'Where Light Shines Brighter'.

Devon Seven has been in many different constellations with bands and producers. Two years ago she finally decided to do it all herself so she put out a couple of videos on youtube kamikaze style, and landed a record deal with the Copenhagen based label No3.

She has performed a lot of underground gigs in Copenhagen and played support for Peaches, as well as being part of the club-scene for several years as a DJ. The last four years she has been studying Musicology at Copenhagen University - so everything in her life currently revolves around music.
Talking about the new single 'Where Light Shines Brighter' Devon Seven says:
"I wrote this song at a time when I was at the end of a relationship. Things were going bad between us and I was facing the fact that it had to end soon. The thought of that made me really sad, but at the same time I was feeling miserable enough as it was. I was trying to make myself feel better by dreaming there would be a place in the future, where I would be happier, even though I was feeling hopeless and lost."
Devon Seven is produced by Simon Littauer (who has also produced Kill J)
