New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Alabama-based country rock singer/songwriter Donica Knight performed for 350+ VIP guests at the Chris Kyle American
Sniper Shootout, held in Mason,
Texas on December 5th, 2015. In attendance, were Taya Kyle (Chris Kyle's widow), country superstar, Zac Brown, NRA World Champion, Bruce Piatt, and many military heroes, among others. The event also featured performances from Easton Corbin, Asleep at the Wheel, and
Scooter Brown Band. The highly successful event raised $1 million for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.
Donica Knight sang the
National Anthem to kick off the shooting competition between Taya Kyle and Bruce Piatt. Ms. Kyle won the competition, using a Tracking Point advanced technology gun, while Mr. Piatt used a standard military sniper rifle. The event ended with Donica perfoming at the private VIP dinner and charity auction.
