New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Though Dora Jar is relatively new to the world as an artist, her warm voice and exceptional songwriting quickly settle in as a familiar feeling. Equal parts alternative pop and bedroom indie rock, Dora Jar is a wild and free spirit with an old soul and a strong sense of self-awareness; romantic and playfully cerebral with a knack for crafting genre-bending generational anthems that make her a standout amongst her contemporaries. Today Dora Jar shares the wildly spectacular video for "Polly", a surreal dreamscape of psychedelic whimsy that makes the perfect visual accompaniment for the standout single from her debut EP, Digital Meadow.

Simply put, Dora Jar shares "It's a psychedelic Sesame Street fever dream. I wanted to bring in my most invincible friends and tear it up."

At just 24 years old, Dora Jar has already lived many lives. Born in New York and raised in LA, she most recently found inspiration in London, moving to the UK after the tragic passing of her sister Lueza. After uploading snippets of herself playing music to Instagram, she connected with producers such as Felix Joseph, Ralph Castelli and Vron, collaborators with whom she architected the sound of Digital Meadow. The project was introduced with first single "Multiply", which twists influences of grunge, folk and rawly honest pop to breath-taking effect, which began to gain viral momentum, now with over 450,000 streams.. Her next single "Quiver" found its way onto Grimes' "Ethereal" playlist on Spotify, followed by "Polly" which landed a coveted spot on Spotify's Lorem playlist. Jar's early catalogue has earned her peer accolades from Alexander 23, Jeremy Zucker, Remi Wolf, Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, and garnered early press praise from Pigeons & Planes, Dazed, Lyrical Lemonade, The Guardian, Evening Standard, DIY, The Line of Best Fit and more, Dora Jar is poised to be the next big artist to watch in 2021. More to come soon - Digital Meadow is out now on Bad Habit.
