Drake Announced That He's Already Started A New Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Drake has already started teasing his next album! During a London performance on his Assassination Vacation Tour, the OVO leader told the crowd he began working on a new LP prior to the show.
"I kinda actually started night last night to be honest with you," he said. "But I think what I'ma do after this is go home, and I'ma make a new album so I can come back to London next year and we can do this again."

Additionally, Drake and Future appear to be working on What a Time to Be Alive 2. Last week, Future took to Instagram Stories with Drake, where they revealed that they are cooking up new music, a possible sequel to their 2015 collaborative project What a Time to Be Alive.
"What's that? We gotta cook that up. That two," said Drake while holding up two fingers in the video. Future responded, "It's already cooked. Top secret."

In addition to teasing new music, Drake took to Instagram to share some old Twitter DMs between him and Kendrick Lamar, Trey Songz, Kevin Durant, and more. "Logged into my twitter today and got a quick reminder that time is in full flight," he wrote. "A lot of blessings to be aware and appreciative of for so many of us…take a quick moment to digest the progression in your life no matter how small or large. Then get back to it."

Drake's last LP, Scorpion, was released in June 2018. The LP was streaming juggernaut, breaking Apple Music's all-time first-day streaming record on its way to debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
