New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, provocative indie-rock three-piece DREAMERS have released a raucous new track, "HEAT SEEKER," along with a thrilling music video directed by lead singer Nick Wold. The visual, shot in one take, brings viewers along on Wold's visually-captivating and surreal adventure. The search for meaning in the modern world is mirrored in the disorienting and gripping dream sequence that finds the band just looking for the truth.
Wold said about the track, "'Heat Seeker' is a song about being lost and searching through life, searching for a better way, searching for the truth, searching for a higher meaning and a good time."
About the visual, Wold said "I had always wanted to do a 'one-shot' video, so there are no cuts or CGI at all and we pulled off the whole 3-minute performance that you see. It was definitely an insane undertaking and we built the whole thing ourselves and filmed it over just 2 days. We're changing clothes and switching lights, there's a fire guy blasting the explosions on the beat, and our touring guitar tech
Jesse is dressed in an all-black skin suit pushing the shopping cart on his knees. We finally got it all right on the last attempt of the day. It felt like a summer camp obstacle course to me and was an insane rush when we finally got it all right."
"Heat Seeker" comes off the success of "Die Happy," which was a top-ten hit at Alternative
Radio and is the fifth alternative radio hit from the LA-via-Brooklyn band.
