Ed Roman Gets "Coast To Coast" Play, Releases New Veterans Benefit Single
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Canadian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ed Roman recently received continent-wide airplay for his song, "Comin' My Way" on North America's most listened to overnight radio broadcast, "Coast To Coast AM." The track was played during the November 1, 2015 airing of the popular unexplained phenomena show. "Coast To Coast AM" is heard by three million weekly listeners on more than 600 stations in the US, Canada, Mexico and Guam.

"This has got to be one of my most favorite radio shows in the whole world." said Roman. "I've been listening to, not only George Noory, but Art Bell for almost 25 years. This is the most listened to terrestrial radio station, worldwide. It's a complete honor and privilege. Ed heads around the world, tip their skullcaps to the good people at 'Coast to Coast' and George Noory."

This major airplay comes on the eve of Roman's new single release, "Lay One Down." The song, written and performed by Roman, is being released on Veterans Day/Remembrance Day, November 11, 2015, as a benefit to veterans in the US, via Heart Songs for Veterans. It will be available on itunes, amazon, and all major digital music retailers.

Heart Songs For Veterans is a music initiative created to help veterans, active military personnel and wounded warriors. Singer/Songwriters donate their new song releases and a portion of the proceeds goes to a veteran or wounded warrior organization. Current releases include "God Cried" Kayla Nettles, "Mild Mannered Man" John Cotton, "Unknown Soldier" Nikki Briar, and "They Choose To" David Craig. Heart Songs For Veterans is also home to "Project Lips Radio." For more information, visit https://www.heartsongsforveterans.org.

Ed Roman is an Award-winning singer/songwriter, performer and multi-instrumentalist from Shelburne, Ontario, Canada. Blurring the lines between pop, rock, folk, and country music genres, Ed's uniquely crafted songs have received regular rotation on more than 100 terrestrial radio stations across North America. Ed is a 2014 Artists Music Guild Award Nominee and a 2014 Artists In Music Award Nominee. He is also a 2014 International Music and Entertainment Association Award Winner, a two-time 2015 IMEA Award nominee, a Josie Show Awards nominee, and a two-time Indie Music Channel Award winner. Ed has performed at the Red Gorilla Music Fest during SXSW, The Millennium Music Conference, and SS Cape May, and he recently toured New York City and Philly in July. Ed has traveled to Jamaica to deliver much-needed humanitarian aid to the island, while shooting the music video for "Jamaica." His current album, Letters From High Latitudes (an homage to his Ontario home) is a critically-acclaimed vehicle for Ed's socio-political, earthly-conscious and globally-aware messages. This earthy, funky and magical mix of music has earned Ed Roman airplay chart recognition and won over legions of fans around the world, known as "Ed Heads." https://www.edroman.net
