Las Vegas, NV (Top40 Charts/ Digital Syndicate Network) Veteran singer and songwriter Christine Tharel, who recently formed her new group Edge Piece, has announced the signing of a global distribution deal with DSN
Music for her upcoming album. The self-title debut will feature Tharel on vocals,
George Frenchman on guitar, Gary Schaff on drums and Anthony Sailer on bass.
"I am very excited and grateful at the same time. We have worked very hard for this and hit so many brick walls during the process" said Tharel. "Giving up was never an option. I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be surrounded by these very gifted musicians that have had the patience to see this through and put up with my crazy antics."
Edge Piece was formed out of the ashes of longtime Las
Vegas act Gypsy Dreamer, which also featured Tharel and Frenchman. Sailer pointed out the
relationship with the group, "being able to work with and play music with Christine,
George and Gary has been an incredible honor and pleasure. We
have spent hours together rehearsing and perfecting the music and while doing so have built a strong bond of friendship and sense of family. That
bond comes across in the music and is a defining aspect to sound of the band."
The group plans to begin a promotional tour in support of the new album, from their home base in Las Vegas, with their rock and blues show.
Edge Piece's debut album is scheduled for a worldwide release via DSN on July 8th, and will be available via online and mobile stores such as Amazon.com, iTunes, Google Music, Spotify, Rhapsody, eMusic and hundreds more.
