Chyle was surrounded by music her whole life. By the age of five years old, she discovered her passion for rapping and singing and entered the entertainment scene in the mid 90s when she joined the female rap duo known as Group 2 Aggrivated. Using music as a lifelong outlet, she honed her skills through endless writing and rap battles, under the name "MC Bytch," eventually securing a deal with Profile Records.
Imani has ambitiously launched her own indie label, Mos Records, where her artistic integrity shines. Influenced by great musicians like Marvin Gaye, Annie Lennox, and U2, Chyle combines thoughtful songwriting, emotional vocals and tight harmonies to conjure a powerful musical experience for her listeners.
