Electro-Power Pop Artist Alex Kelly With Pillow Theory East Coast Tour In November
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Alex Kelly Official Website) Queens, New York-born singer/songwriter Alex Kelly, the sexy electro-pop rock maven has announced her "Orange Meltdown Tour" in collaboration with the high-powered rock fusion band pILLOW tHEORY, which kicks off in November. Recommended if you like Santigold, M.I.A. and Sleigh Bells, Kelly will start off in Somerville, MA and will hit at least four other major cities in the Northeast in support of her first full-length album, Orange Circle, released on June 1, 2012.

Described as "streetwise pop with instant a-peel" by Gig Junkies, Kelly's Orange Circle CD provides 8 tracks of high-energy, cutting-edge power pop that combines Kelly's acrobatic vocals, driving dance beats and rockin' guitar riffs by Kelsey Warren, the guitarist for pILLOW tHEORY. WhatCulture raved "Kelly's rich yet mellow vocal style will have you singing along with every word while the strutting guitar moves your limbs on their own accord."

The former lead singer of "Amungus", an electro-pop band created by Robby Takac (Goo Goo Dolls), Kelly released her debut EP Sticky Butterfly in 2010 garnering positive reviews from Afropunk.com, Channel 7 WKBW, Carma Dee TV, and Z100 Radio among others. The following year, Kelly met and partnered with Kelsey Warren of pILLOW tHEORY, with whom she collaborated on Orange Circle and has been performing with ever since at major NYC venues, including The Bowery Electric, Webster Hall, Arlene's Grocery and recently at Sullivan Hall in NYC for the 2012 CMJ Music Marathon.
