Evelyn Rubio Rocks The Red Carpet @ Women Songwriters Hall Of Fame
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) For the second year in a row singer songwriter actress Evelyn Rubio was chosen to open the annual international gala for Women Songwriters Hall Of Fame in Washington DC.
Ms. Rubio presented her peers in songwriting with her soon to be released single "Because I Want To" which received a rousing reception.
The introduction of the event celebrating accomplishments by women songwriters was pioneered by Dr.Janice McLean DeLoatch some three years ago and since its inception has been embraced by a list of top notch, top rated stars from around the world.
Janice remarks, "When it comes to Evelyn she's not only an extremely gifted songwriter but on stage she is absolutely incredible. Her and her sax take center stage and the gala begins."

Currently Evelyn is in the studio recording at the world famous Wire Road Studio Houston with jazz great and noted arranger Paul English. Together working with award winning sound engineer Andy Bradley crafting new entries earmarked for a soon to be announced release date.
